Afternoon NDTV showed a news track. It was on the suspended Prof Rajeev Kumar. And again they made sure to stick to just those points that suits this Prof. Check the video here.

Now interestingly one point they forgot while making this video (Or maybe Prof Rajeev Kumar forgot). In the video the news reader says that letters were sent to IIT Kharagpur with Kapil Sibals permission. They forgot that Rajeev Kumar with his usual journo friend Akshaya Mukul had slammed Minister Kapil Sibal few months back on the same issue telling just the opposite.

Its clearly written there by Akshaya Mukul: "HRD minister Kapil Sibal, who is also chairperson of IIT Council, refused to intervene. Kumar's representation to Sibal was turned down on the grounds that IITs enjoy administrative autonomy and no intervention is feasible."
Serious question now arise, did any letter even reach IIT Kharagpur on this matter. If yes, then how did Mr Akshaya Mukul come out with the news on IIT Kharagpur "biased slur on IIT Kharagpur". Or is it that Mukul told the truth but the Prof being so much into smear campaign against IIT Kharagpur, is now even forgetting what he said sometime back!!!
The channel also forgot to mention the wrong doing of this suspended prof especially in the laptop case and on mass copying case. Do check this link and find lot more about the real Rajeev Kumar.
